Clay Tile
Clay tile is formed from earthen clays molded into rolled or interlocking shapes and fired for hardness. it’s often left unglazed, with the characteristic reddish-orange color; or it is often glazed and fired to make ceramic roofing tiles. Clay tile may be an excellent building material for decent climates or where salt air is present, which is why these roofs are seen so often in southern coastal regions or desert regions.
Tile is an upscale building material, with costs that will range from $10 to $18 per sq ft, installed (though more uncommon ceramic tiles can run the maximum amount as $30 per sq ft , installed). Clay tile may be a very long-lasting building material which will last quite a century.
